If you are into dating Filipino women who live in the Philippines, then you already know that you will need to sign up at Filipina dating sites like Cherry Blossoms (over 50,000 Filipino women out of over 60,000 active women members) and chat with Filipino women there.

The problem with dating Filipino women online is that they are from a different culture and while they speak English, they don't speak the same language of love (and flirting) as you do. There are many men who have had little Filipina dating success. One problem that we're seeing is that these men commit some grave chatting mistakes that turn off Filipino women and make them run away. So, what are these mistakes?

Read and learn.

1. Tell her you are chatting with four other women

While most Filipino women already know that they are not the only ones, you really do not have to tell it to their faces. Filipino women are actually unreasonably jealous when it comes to men, especially if a man is a potential boyfriend or a boyfriend already.

Honesty can only get you so far with Filipino women - you need to make a woman feel that she is special if you want to get anywhere.

2. Ask her sex-related questions

Although over 90% of Filipinos are Catholics, it's rare to find a woman who will NOT commit pre-marital sex with her boyfriend. However, Filipinas are still a conservative bunch compared to Western women.

They think men who talk about sex straight off are maniacs who should not be taken seriously. If you've only meet a Filipino woman, please don't ask anything sex-related, even if it's just out of curiosity. Wait until you've established friendship.

3. Brag about yourself

One thing about Filipino women is that they don't like men who are “mayabang” (braggart) and "mahangin" (literally, windy). It's better to brag about your mother or other members of your family because it shows to them how family-oriented you are.

If you are such an accomplished person, don't go around waving your own flag because it will make Filipino women run away from you.

4. Tell her that you will get her out of poverty

Although the Philippines is a poor country, not all the people there are dirt poor. In fact, there are many people who can afford to travel to other South East Asian countries (thanks to budget airlines).

Yet, there are many foreign men who still think that ALL Filipino women need to be saved from a bad financial station and have the gall to tell women they just met that “I have a lot of money and I will get you out of poverty” or something to that effect. Please, even if you have a lot of money, have some respect.

5. Criticize the Philippines and Filipinos in general

Despite their reputation for being friendly, Filipinos are actually violent in the sense that they don't ever like to hear any criticism either about the Philippines or Filipinos in general. Actress Claire Danes (Leonardo di Caprio's partner in Romeo and Juliet) was declared an ingrate by the capital city Manila for saying that the city is dirty.

On the other hand, some guy was at the receiving end of Filipino wrath when he posted a video about the top ten things he hated about the Philippines. Filipino women as individuals are really no different than the general population – they get mad and will fight with their foreign boyfriends or husbands when anything bad is said about the Philippines and Filipinos (even if it's true).

That said, if you're dating Filipino women online, do NOT say anything bad about the Philippines and Filipinos.

Please read this article again and again if you're not familiar with dating Filipino women online. Share this with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.

If you're wondering where you can meet Filipino women, we suggest that you try Cherry Blossoms. It may look like just another international dating site, but like we said earlier, over 50,000 of its over 60,000 Filipino women members are actually Filipino women. Don't believe us? Check it out here.
