1. Being scammed

The most common form of scam is for a woman to date several men at the same time and then asking for small amounts of money from each of them. Often the woman will cite very compelling reasons for asking for money, like a sick mother or being too poor to pay the electricity bill.
Another form of scam is involves married women who pose as single women and luring unsuspecting men. These women are often in cahoots with their husbands and often the husband is introduced as a close cousin to the foreigner boyfriend.
2. Not marrying for love
While majority of Filipino women turn to foreign men just because, there are women who date foreign men - even if they are old enough to be their fathers or grandfathers – to get out of a bad life situation.
They are NOT scammers, but they are do not marry out of love, either. Actually, there are many cases of Filipinas who did not marry out of love but ended up falling in love with their husbands because the men are very good to them.
3. Being turned into a breadwinner to her entire family
There are also many Filipina women who see foreign men as their way out of poverty, and so they get married to a foreign man and somehow convince him to support her entire family of able-bodied but out-of-work family members.
If you don’t want this to happen to you, what you should do is to make sure that the Filipina woman you are dating is not so dirt poor that she ends up bringing her entire family whenever you go out on a date so that they can eat a proper meal.
So there you have it. The items mentioned above are some of the risks of dating Filipina women. Of course, that these risks are real it doesn’t mean that they happen to all men who date Filipino women. For one foreign man who has been burned, there are many more men who are happy and are glad that they are dating Filipina women.
