If you are looking for Filipino women online, one of the things you might be asking is if it's possible to find a decent woman simply by posting an ad on Craigslist - in effect making Craigslist a dating site for finding Filipino women.
Well, here's some good news and bad news.
The good news is that yes, it is possible to find Philippine women there simply by posting an ad on Craigslist. However, and this is the big caveat, you'd be lucky to get ten responses or so.

It's true. I posted an ad there some time ago, and all I got were only a handful of responses. I forget the exact number, but they were very few compared to what I got when I posted in a city in the United States.
Yes, I got responses from quite a few women, but then I also got responses from a few lady boys. The lady boys were pretty alright, but I thought to myself I need real Filipino women, not a semi one.
My guess is that majority of Filipino women, and Filipinos in general, still don't know what Craigslist is. This is true even for the big cities like Manila and Cebu. You can post and repost all you like but after some time, you'll start to wonder if there are even real women out there. I certainly did after posting a few times.
So right now I'm going back to the Philippine dating sites again. If you're trying to look for Filipino women through Craigslist, go ahead and post an ad there. But don't get your hopes up too high, and expect lady boys to reply to your post. Not that it's a bad thing if you're up for that kind of experience.
In my opinion, if you're really serious about finding a Filipina woman through the Internet, a dating site should be part of your arsenal. If there were even a thousand Filipino women who checks Craigslist everyday, there'd be no need for Filipino dating sites and we'd all be happy campers, would we?
So, do I think Craigslist can be a dating site? Not by a long shot, although it's possible to get some responses from Filipino women there. For me, a dating site is where I can see MANY beautiful Filipino women that I can contact. Right now, as it is, this is just not the case with Craigslist.
I've heard from friends about Cherry Blossoms dating site. I might just go there and start all over my search for a Filipino woman.
